Nancy Sullivan Morgan
Since I was a child, I was driven to make art. I am the daughter of a graphic artist and the
youngest of eight children. My art is an extension of my core self. I am a perfectionist.
Spirit Infused Cloth
I work with diverse materials, myriad colors, and lots of textures to create pieces which bring
peace to the forces which drive me to create. I have mixed steel washers, feathers, shrinkable
plastic, and countless other materials with fabric, bead,s and paint to bring my designs to life.
I use a combination of machine and hand work, and I use various techniques such as ply-splitting,
coiling, beadwork, rug hooking and braiding, and embroidery to create both wall quilts and
three-dimension fiber art.
I live in Summerside with my husband, two dogs, and a number of cats. We inhabit thirty-six
acres that include forest, pond, creek and gardens. Nature is central to my life, and flowers,
birds, bugs, animals, land, sky, and water are constant themes in my designs.
