Weaverbird Fledglings Weaverbird Fledglings Study Group meets the second Wednesday of the month, 10am-noon. This group is mostly for weavers "trying their wings" but any Guild member weaver or wannabe weaver is welcome to attend. 2nd Wednesday Joy Thaler

The Spinning Study Group meets on the third Tuesday from 10am-2pm. Bring your work and lunch. You do not need to be a spinner to join us. 3rd Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. Pat Maley

Rigid Heddle Loom
Rigid Heddle Loom
The Rigid Heddle Study Group focuses on the use portable and easy to use Rigid Heddle looms. At our group meetings, we work on our current projects, have "show and tell", help each other with problems and will sometimes schedule a topic to discuss or have a challenge. We usually stay till 1 or 2 pm so bring a lunch too. Rigid Heddle looms are a great way to begin weaving on a simple loom and we welcome all levels of weavers from beginning to experienced. Art Quilting Guild members are invited to join a new study group where participants will explore art quilting and art quilting techniques done by hand or machine. We will meet from Jan through June 2018 form 10am-2pm on the third Wednesday of the month. Our first meeting will be Wednesday January 17th. We will have a brief time of discussion of current events in quilting, Cincinnati challenges, and information about upcoming shows. We will discuss what the group will do in months going forward and then have a discussion about resists in anticipation of the April 1 deadline for the President's Challenge. Members are also encouraged to bring something to work on, share or ask for an opinion on if "stuck". Braids and Bands Home Study Group This is a group for people who like to do small stuff like Kumihimo, backstrap weaving, weave on small portable looms, rigid heddle weaving, etc. Come join the group for camaraderie and mentoring if you need some.
