Workshop with Australian Martien van Zuilen

The Guild will welcome felt maker, teacher and community artist, Martien van Zuilen to share her lively and fun "Jewelry Adorned" workshop on November 1st & 2nd between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Participants will learn a variety of innovative felting techniques to make uniquely shaped beads, cords, necklaces, earrings, brooches, bracelets and bangles. The group will create individual jewelry pieces, body adornments and fashion accessories using wool and other fibres with incorporated natural and found objects. Enroll soon to explore the wondrous possibilities of these small-scale sculptural treasures. Martien presents a hands on workshop with lots of demonstrations and 'play-time'!

The signup is located on the Guild House Kitchen Bulletin board. Print a workshop enrollment form from the website and send it with your $50 deposit to Teresa Nieberding, Program Committee member and Workshop Chair. You may also leave both in the Program Committee "inbox" in the House kitchen. The workshop fee is $140 for members and $175 for non-members with a $12 materials fee.
