Summer is typically the time of year when our members get busy on projects that they are creating for our fall Fiber Arts Sale, traditionally held the second weekend in November. This year it’s November 8-10, 2019.
Here is a glance at what some of our members are working on.
Rosalie C. is working on scarves in 8/2 Tencel with a hand-dyed warp and black weft in an advancing point twill. It will be in the fall sale!
Merriel Miller is working on a 4 shaft overshot rug project using 8/4 cotton carpet warp in an oatmeal color and pink rug wool for weft.
Janice D is working on twill dish towels in American MadeTM cotton which is sustainably grown, colorful cotton yarn available in the colors that it is grown in with no dye required!
And Nancy Niemeyer is working on 4 shaft twill block towels with a warp in natural 8/2 cotton. The warp is 9 yards long, and each towel will have a differently colored weft and variations on the treadling for the pattern blocks. Most of the towels will be available in the sale!
Do you want to stay updated on the sale? Sign up for our sale email list! You will only get reminders about our sale 2-4 times a year.
