Cost: $70.00
Class limit: 6

This class will consist of three meetings where overshot and overshot variations will be discussed, as well as Q & A sessions. Participants will work on samples either using guild looms during open hours or working on their own looms at home. We will be using the book “Next Steps in Weaving” by Pattie Graver as a resource for the workshop and the traditional pattern Star of Bethlehem. The instructor will be available for questions/issues outside of scheduled sessions for additional guidance if needed.
Full draft and treadling variations will be handed out at the first class. Participants will have 2 weeks to warp their loom and make progress on their samples. Guidance for setting up your own project will be discussed at the final session.
Recommended yarns for the class are 10/2 mercerized for warp and tabby weft, 3/2 mercerized in a contrasting colors for pattern weft.
If you want to use a guild loom contact Lorain before the first day of the class so she can make arrangements.
Please remember to bring your $3 material fee payable to the instructor on the first day of class.
