Do you think you have an interest in weaving? This 2-day class is designed to help you discover the magic, fun, and endless possibilities of weaving. Students will be introduced to some of the basics of weaving including weaving terminology as well as the parts of the loom and how they work. Students will learn to wind a warp, dress a loom, and read a weaving draft or pattern. The instructor will guide students through this process as they create a plain weave scarf. Fibers for this project will be selected either prior to class (with the instructor’s guidance) or on the first day of class. Students should be prepared to pay both the packet fee and the materials fee with either cash or a check. The instructor will collect these amounts on the first day of class.
