** Weather note: In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled as flax processing requires dry conditions.

Come and lend a hand in processing local flax grown as part of the Rust Belt Fibershed’s Linen Project. Sew Valley will be bringing their flax harvest, and others are welcome to bring their own retted flax to take through the necessary steps for processing into spinnable fiber. This is not necessarily a class, rather an opportunity to come together and share the processing tools the Weavers Guild of Greater Cinicnnati and its members are making available to the community – including a flax brake, scutching equipment, and hackles.
