You don’t want to miss out on this fabulous sale of original works by skilled Weavers Guild artisans. You’ll love choosing from fiber treasures artfully arranged on two floors of our historic building. There will be the best hand-woven kitchen towels you will ever have along with other household textiles like rugs, table runners and placemats; striking original clothing; warm and cuddly accessories such as scarves, socks, and hats. There will also be cleverly made purses, intricate beaded jewelry, and flowing silk scarves in brilliant hand dyed colors. There are always unique holiday ornaments to keep for years. Come experience the luxury of handmade.

This and other handwoven rugs will be available for purchase at our fiber arts sale. 

Sale dates are November 7, 8 & 9, Friday 4-8, Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 12-4.

Tomorrow is Second Saturdays at the Guild. Our sec Tomorrow is Second Saturdays at the Guild. Our second Saturdays events always feature a fiber arts market, a Make It Take It craft and a demo of fiber art. 

This month, the walls of our gallery features an exhibition of work by weavers guild artisans. These are only a few of the exquisite pieces on exhibit. Stop by between 10 and 2 tomorrow, Saturday, October 11 for a real treat.

Make-it-Take-it: Mud-resist Indigo Dye Bandanas 
Explore the world of natural dyes with indigo! Using a resist-dye paste method made from mud, participants will design their own bandana using stamps, stencils or freehand, and then dye it permanently blue with a natural vat of indigo. Please plan to spend at least 45 minutes working on this craft, and wear clothes/shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. All materials will be supplied for a fee of $10 per one bandana. Limited quantity of bandanas, so get there early before we run out!

Come to Second Saturdays at the Guild on August 9 Come to Second Saturdays at the Guild on August 9 from 10-2. Shop our Fiber Arts Market, see a floor loom weaving demo and try your hand at indigo dying with mud-resist to make a dyed bandana. The dyeing activity is only $10 per bandana and takes about 45 minutes. Bandanas are limited so come early!  See what we are all about and think about joining the guild!
